Yesterday's Video of HURRICANE IRMA hitting MIAMI.
Miami, a city of 430,000 residents, could vanish in this century if the most noticeably bad environmental change expectations come true!
Researchers talking with New York magazine revealed this possibility and said Miami would vanish submerged amidst century if ocean level ascent continues!
Hurricane Imra, indeed a standout amongst the most powerful Atlantic tempests in the history, is relied upon unfortunately to bear down down on South Florida by the end of this week. Miami could be the city hit hardest.
The connection between environmental change and the current year's disastrous typhoon action is dubious, yet researchers say the rising temperature of sea water strengthens tempests to like Irma.
The normal elevation of Miami, at the mouth of the Miami River on the lower east shore of Florida, is around 6 feet above ocean level, as indicated by CityData.com and NASA. South Florida foresees a 2-foot increment in the ocean level by 2060.
Amidst a century, a mix of polar melting, carbon emissions, and ice-sheet breakdown could make incessant flooding wipe out Miami — and, as per National Geographic, approx 670 seaside communities , including Cambridge, Massachusetts; Oakland, California; St. Petersburg, Florida; and four of the five districts of New York City.
