The UN says, based on the data they have today, more than 80,000 Rohingnya Muslims have fled to Bangladesh. Rohingnya Muslims decided to get out of Myanmar after a purge operation carried out by the army of Myanmar.

"Some 87,000 Rohingya refugees have arrived in Bangladesh since violence erupted in neighboring Myanmar on August 25," the United Nations said in a statement, as quoted by Russia Today on Monday (4/9).

"About 20 thousand other refugees gathered on the border between Bangladesh and the western Rakhine state, and are waiting to enter Bangladesh," he continued.

Dhaka, in its own right, declared that it would no longer accept Rohingnya's refuge, and began to increase border control after the last round of violence began 10 days ago.

But in recent days, Bangladesh's border guards seem to have allowed the escaped refugees to enter, and the UN says that some newly arrived people reported that there was no attempt to prevent them from crossing.
