Big Pharma...

Are you aware they are still trying to cash in on the problems they've created while trying to sound like they care? Yesterday, in the International Congregation of Lord RayEl I posted an AP article that stated: "Mundipharma, the international affiliate of Purdue Pharma", is continuing to try to counteract their opioid overdosing crisis with another drug, nexalone, since back in October. Sad, their slogan was... "Be prepared. Get naloxone. Save a life"... Even though "publicly, Purdue was denying that its painkillers caused the addiction epidemic." This new drug is sold as Nyxoid.

Is there a big conspiracy at play here? I don't think it is a conspiracy any longer as it is well known Big Pharma does not care about life with the drugs pushed out on the markets that have no cure but only temporary relief with additional health issues. At first, I didn't realize nexalone had been around for quite some time. According to Wikipedia, "Naloxone was patented in 1961 and approved for opioid overdose in the United States in 1971." However, Mundipharma was shown promoting their version back in Italy a couple of months back. "Here they were cashing in on a cure," the article stated regarding their medical conference booth in Italy.

Mundipharma is also pushing another strategy globally: From Europe to Australia, it is working to dominate the market for opioid overdose treatment.

'The way that they've pushed their opioids initially and now coming up with the expensive kind of antidote — it's something that just strikes me as deeply, deeply cynical,' said Ross Bell, executive director of the New Zealand Drug Foundation and a longtime advocate of greater naloxone availability. 'You've got families devastated by this, and a company who sees dollar signs flashing.'

There is always some controversy when it comes to this topic. However, the article continued to state:

Critics say Nyxoid's price is excessive, particularly when inexpensive naloxone products already exist. Grand declined to say how much Nyxoid costs Mundipharma to manufacture or how profitable it has been.

If you don't already know, this should 100% prove to you that Big Pharma truly only cares for a profit over life. Yes, there are very rare instances where life-threatening conditions need assistance, but life is such a precious gift and it's time people start waking up to the reality that a quick Pharma fix is not going to help preserve life, it can only in return do more harm than good. Saving a life could be as simple as saying NO to prescription drugs if it is not life-threatening.
