I know people are sick about talking about politics, but the general election is only about four months away. With the latest polls showing an incredibly tight race, anything can happen in that time. However, I think it's important to educate the people about what the former President Donald Trump, top Republicans and conservative figures and organizations, have planned if they win.
If you have been watching the news democrats have been trying to shed light on a well known conservative plan to reshape the federal government in their image. Trump's campaign has been doing its best to try to distance itself from this plan.
The plan is called Project 2025 — a collection of policy transition proposals that outline how, if Trump wins the November election, he can vastly remake the federal government most effectively to carry out an extremist far-right agenda. It's an actual plan for the real life Handmaid's Tale. As the website says
That's a terrifying goal from my perspective. Project 2025 is a massive, 920-page document that outlines exactly what the next Trump presidency would look like. This doesn’t just include policy proposals like immigration actions, educational proposals and economic plans, but rather a portrait of the America that conservatives hope to implement in the next Republican administration, be it Trump or someone else.
The document is a thorough blueprint for how, exactly, to carry out such a vision, through recommendations for key White House staff, cabinet positions, Congress, federal agencies, commissions and boards. The plan goes so far as to outline a vetting process for appointing and hiring the right people in every level of government to carry out this vision even if that's not the will of the people.
The opening essay of the plan, summarizes the goal of Project 2025: a promise to make America a conservative nation. To do so, the next presidential administration should focus on four pillars.
Those four pillars include:
- Puts in one place a consensus view of how major federal agencies must be governed and where disagreement exists brackets out these differences for the next President to choose a path.
- Put a personnel database that allows candidates to build their own professional profiles and our coalition members to review and voice their recommendations. These recommendations will then be collated and shared with the President-elect’s team, greatly streamlining the appointment process.
- The Presidential Administration Academy, an online
educational system taught by experts from our coalition. For the newcomer, this will explain how the government functions and how to function in government. For the experienced, we will host in-person seminars with advanced training and set the bar for what is expected of senior leadership. - The Playbook for forming agency teams and drafting transition plans to move out upon the President’s utterance of “so help me God.”
Some of their goals are to:
- Restore the family as the centerpiece of American life and protect our children. Dismantle the administrative state and return self-governance to the American people.
- Defend our nation’s sovereignty, borders, and bounty against global threats.
- Secure our God-given individual rights to live freely—what our Constitution calls “the Blessings of Liberty.”
The plan outlines on what the White House and every single federal agency should do to overhaul its goals and day-to-day operations from the Department of Agriculture to the Department of Defense, Small Business Administration and Financial Regulatory Agencies make make this ultra conservative hell scape a reality. What that means is removing women and LGBTQ+ rights!
Project 2025 seeks to eliminate access to free emergency contraception. They want to take away access to no-cost emergency contraception for 48 million women. Restrict reproductive rights by banning abortion and cutting funding for reproductive health services. Undermine family planning by eliminating programs and projects like IVF that promote family planning and reproductive health.
They also want to eliminate LGBTQ+ rights by rolling back protections for LGBTQ+ individuals. This would include the current federal protections related to employment, housing, and healthcare. They want to ban same-sex marriage by repealing the Respect for Marriage Act, which codified same-sex and interracial marriage. Criminalize same-sex relationships, eliminate recognition of gender identity, ban pornography claiming it promotes “transgender ideology” and the “sexualization of children.”
Pretty much they are looking to create a Christian Fascist America even if that's not the will of the people...

I am not a republican and I don't agree with all of the stuff that they want to push either. I honestly think that the entire LGBTQ+ stuff should be up to people's choice. There shouldn't be any involvement from the government. I am more pro-choice but at the same time, I don't really trust the government at all.
I want people to have the choice not the government. At least the democrats are trying to allow people to choose what they want. The republican party is supposed to be the part of small government and sure like to tell people what they cannot do. My favorite is you can regulate guns but you can regulate a women's body...
