Resolution 43: State Rights

I'm switching my YouTube videos over here to D-Tube. This is no longer a current event issue, but the information is still relevant. Today, the United States Congress narrowly passed House Joint Resolution 43 with a vote of 51 to 50. Countless news articles call the bill “anti-Planned Parenthood” and “against Planned Parenthood” and claim that it “defunds family planning” and ironically “kills Planned Parenthood funding”. What does the bill actually do? Is Planned Parenthood being defunded? The short answer is no. What Resolution 43 does is restore state rights, and this woman approves.
