Hi @iceagefarmer, I'm a relative newcomer to your YouTube channel (thanks to Dave at Adapt2030). I'm trying to turn my hand to home-grown veggies now (at my mum's home, no room where I live), to try and mitigate the coming food crisis. Initially, I'll be planting green beans, red potatoes (from seeds, long story) and butternut squash.

Greatly appreciate all your work,

EggMeister.

Came from Twitter. Good to see you on #Steem @iceagefarmer!

There is a bit of Doom and Gloom here. Now I know that sells. But lets take a step back. In the last 200 years we have built railroads in most countries. Built Steel hulled ships, perfected the diesel and steem engine, and built tractors and developed high yielding crops. Invented electricty. Almost every country out there, is willing to supply other countries with critical food. (USA could ship enough food to Europe, Argentina could ship to China.) This global supply chain and modern communications infrastructure. -They didn't have morse code/internet 200 years ago. Provide a resilience to global supply chains. Our technology provides a massive security blanket, previous generations did not have.
