In this video, I report on the protests in the streets of Hong Kong as China pushes forward their initiative to take more control over the city/state following massive protests pre-lockdown which are starting to show signs of coming back even larger than before.
Meanwhile the financial center is also facing a massive crisis in itself as many theorize we are seeing the end of its prevalence.
China is going for the throat globally and trying to take over as much power as they can while the US and other countries pretend to fight back for face value.
How will this end? Who will be the victors? How crazy is this going to get?

The people will be the victors.
Banking and financialization is over. Bitcoin / blockchain cryptocurrencies have won, it is just a matter of time.
Unfortunately, a lot of imaginary wealth is going to go poof.
And in that poof, Hong Kong may disappear... well, as the financial hub.
However, the Chinese people are seeing what Hong Kong is like, and that has created a time limit for the CCP. Its days are numbered.
Hong Kong will be something else in the future, but the CCP will be no more.
The future of the CCP is definitely an interesting talking point, China is far behind in terms of soft power and cultural influence. Many liberal academics hoping for a democrasy inspired by Confucian value, but only time will tell. The financial and economic are only one half of the human expereice, I think that's what we tend to easily forget when it comes to China's global dominance.
