As 2020 draws to a close.
And I haven't posted for a long, long time.
I have been pondering.
Upon these 3 questions...
1. Is there still a space for Hive News?
Has anyone else picked up on a daily news service now?
If yes, that is great.
If no, would anyone notice if it started it again?

2. Would A Dollar A Day work on Hive these days?
The @adollaraday project gave my time great purpose back in the day.
In this different place. In these different times. With these different (much bigger) needs.
Could it ever be the same again?
Or could it be better?
3. What should I watch next on Netflix or Amazon Prime?
With not much writing, there's been too much viewing.
But it is good to kick back and relax a while with an organic beer or two.
I've caught up with Fear The Walking Dead. Ground through some low rated dystopian movies. And tinkered about with a bit of Jack Ryan nailing the bad guys.
Now I need some new inspiration. Happy ending Post Apoc's especially welcome. I need these like a shot in the arm.
Any suggestions...

Yes! Check out what @hivetrending has been doing too with that, could be potential to joint venture or create a central 'hub' for Hive news with multiple contributors?
I'd love to see that take shape...I'm a big fan of Kiva, so anything like that on chain, I'd love to witness and support.

I am publishing @HiveToday on a weekly basis. Publishing daily is not something I can sustain because of other commitments.
I see no harm in resuming your daily Hive News. More the merrier. I often find that I miss things.
The Expanse is quite remarkable for a series to watch. I second Jon’s recommendation here. I also enjoy the books by James Corey.

Thank you - I've heard of The Witcher but not come across the other two. Are they on Netflix?
The Witcher is definitely worth a watch, especially if you like the Last Kingdom type of genre.
Or classic DnD. As the franchise is new to me, I'm not sure if it's intentional or not but at times it seems lifted directly from tropes of the 70's RPG.

It's great to hear from you again. I was a little concerned that you dropped off the radar. I have picked up the baton with UK Hivers and have automated the process a bit. Looking like around 100 active lately as I find more and some come back. I keep an eye out for other people.
Hope you and the chickens are well. I just covered our run in netting due to the avian flu issue. May be getting a couple more birds soon. We could do with the eggs.

I would say all of Black Mirror but it is realism dystopian and even Charlie Brooker stopped making them because we are living them. We are watching Handmaid's Tale now but it is a short step from what we are living now.
