In Dubai, a skyscraper residential building named torch tower in Dubai was hit by a fierce fire. However, no casualties were reported. In the last two years, a fire broke out in a skyscraper for the second time. This is said in a BBC report on Friday.
The footage spread through social media showed that flames spread over the walls and the debris fell down. Authorities say people have been removed from the building. The fire came under control.
One of the world's highest towers, the reason for the torch towers was not known. In a tweet, the government has said, "No incidents have occurred in the Torch Tower fire."
Earlier this year, the tower was set on fire. This tower on 79th floor was launched in 2011. This was the world's largest residential building when it opened. Later, six more buildings surpassed this tower.
I hate to see such a beautiful building go up in flames, but is there a chance it was done to collect some sort of insurance? I heard not all those buildings are full.
