I was not aware of videos getting deleted after 7 days. Thats not good. Thanks for letting us know.

This is incorrect.

You can upload a video, then see what will happen after seven days.

You can still find them, they are just no longer in the tags you used. Tags are for current material.

Edit: they should be at the same https address they were when they were visible to find by search.

Is it normal that they are deleted from "My Channel" part? If so, DTube wouldn't compete with Youtube in this way.

The raw data is there a user friendly interface has yet to be created for easy access.

After seven days, it ceases to earn revenue just like any post on Steemit (except for active and ongoing commenting). It may drop out of the trending tags but it will always be searchable and on your posting page on Steemit (unless you delete it there).

As we all know that there is no limit to earn revenue from videos on Youtube such as seven days.

But the potential to earn much more lies with Steemit/Dtube. I have videos on YT that have 20,000 views (I know, not much) that have earned less than $10 in over two years with YT monetization. I could do that with one short video on Dtube in a single day!

But no revenue after seven days. What I meant to say was that lifetime revenue on DTube would make it more rewarding.

Except for ongoing comments that can continue to earn. Just like on Steemit, you can visit a post that is 1 year old, make a comment and if that comment is upvoted (during the next seven days), you get the reward. So basically, you could have an ongoing conversation forever and earn author rewards.

Still playing fine.
