She could not find a better company, between Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin: the French Line Renaud inaugurated Thursday a street in her name in Las Vegas, near streets named after the two American singers.

"It's a tremendous happiness, I can not tell you, it's indescribable, and of course I think of my family who is up there too, and who loved Las Vegas so much and who has attended my career here, "said the tears in the eyes the actress of 89 years, visibly very moved.

The "Line Renaud Rd", a small 3-meter alleyway leading to a secondary entrance to the famous casino Ceasars Palace, is located close to the mythical Strip, the gigantic artery that runs through the city.

The actress was accompanied by a dozen loved ones for this quick ceremony, under the sun of the Mojave desert, in the presence of Carolyn Goodman, the mayor of Las Vegas.

Line Renaud, native of North of France, knows well the American capital of the game for having conducted the magazine in a casino between 1963 and 1965.

"How many memories in Vegas! My first contract was to last 3 months, I stayed there 2 years. And in 1968 I came back for a 2nd show, "she wrote this week on her Twitter account.

"Las Vegas has always been an important part in my life, and a special place in my heart. And I'm especially proud because my street is next to that of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. I think from up there they have to see us, the + Rat Pack + sees us, Rat Pack + smiled at us, and the + Rat Pack + must say + she is still there? + ", She also said Thursday in front of the press, referring to this group of American stars of the 50s gathered around Frank Sinatra .

In her autobiography, the vice-president of the association Sidaction reported a liaison with one of the founders of Caesars Palace, casino hotel opened in 1966.

Failing to perform, the singer explains in her book that she participated in the creation of this casino, to which her street will now allow taxis and limousines to access.
