I'll try using their tag and see what happens.

It doesn't hurt to try. Your work will at least show up in front of a gaming community, and the odds of success are slightly increased, provided you're persistent.

I've been using a couple of other gaming tags and getting up-votes from them, but not much in the way of participation. I also promoted on their Discord channels. I'm starting to become convinced that there just isn't much interest in this sort of thing amongst those who remain on the Steem blockchain. Everyone is looking for high-tech. stuff. Even Steempunk, which had a huge amount of interest, is now dead and gone.

Part of the battle here is creating your own market. People say there's no money things like fiction as well, but there is, when you provide the people with a product. Nobody will go to the tire shop to buy tires if there aren't any tires there. Far too many people give up, and give up far too soon.

Maybe what you're doing will work, maybe it won't. I don't know.

That's more than just a tag. It's an entire tribe. You'll earn GG tokens on top of the Steem as well. Have you checked your wallet there? It looks like you already have 953 and they're not staked. If you stake them, you'll earn more GG when you support other steemace content, on top your Steem curation rewards.

I have all sorts of tokens that I didn't know anything about and have been too busy to dive into them. Looks like I'll need to stake the GG tokens next time I'm working with the alternate tokens.

953GG staked.

#battle battlegames.io might work for you too if not already.

Those I knew about and have been using (staked) for a while now. Thanks!
