OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1684th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Greetings to all, there is a well-known proverb that says that "what comes easy, goes easy", which if we analyze it well, we will realize that it deals with the value and importance of the effort we make to obtain an achievement and the degree of care we will have to maintain it, making us consider the transience of the things we get with little effort and reflect on the true sustainability of what we get quickly and without much sacrifice.

The joy of getting a job done and excellently knows no bounds. As a teacher and cook, I know just how delicate my job is. If you are paid to teach a child exclusively and at the end the child has still not made progress in that subject, it makes one look like a scam. Teaching on its own can be difficult as it is not just about the teacher but the learner too. If the learner is unwilling to participate in the learning process, the teacher’s effort will be futile.

For the preparations I had to go through anxiety constantly, because it was my duty to contact each of the guests, promote the activity and make sure that everything went well (because I'm not a perfectionist but I hate doing things wrong).

That Saturday I spent the whole morning preparing for the moment of the activity. I arrived early and with the help of one of the producers I arranged all the chairs in order. Also, on a table, I placed several books of use to sell them at lower prices, so that this literature will never die.

As usual, I always buy different sunscreens because I prefer to take care of my skin first before applying makeup. Although I have 2 or 3 in my toiletry bag in different presentations, I wanted to try this one Garnier brand that was on sale for the summer in addition to having 50 SPF, one of its main active ingredients is Niacinamide and Salicylic Acid, so for my oily skin type and with many open pores, it suits me perfectly!

This Sunday was a day of rest, my dark circles reach my feet and my body is tired so I tried to rest a little and I took the opportunity to watch this movie Lisa Frankenstein I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but I didn't know what else to watch. This movie happens in a past time of course that in the United States in the time of the 80s I think, where a lonely teenager with a dysfunctional family and events such as witnessing the murder of her mother have marked her life.

Today, besides showing you some nice postcards, I would like to share with you some thoughts I have had since I attended my older sister's thesis presentation. In my country, Venezuela, due to all the problems at economic and social level my generation has gone through changes in the professional point of view, because we went from prioritizing university education to look for ways to increase our income, and clearly that made us graduate to a second plane.

None of us can make a decision for someone else, although I believe I can seek the necessary advice when I am in doubt, I think it is just that, advice or suggestions from which we can draw what we feel might be helpful to us.

Yesterday, Sunday, we had a busy morning doing some work both outside and at home. A friend – we're already making friends here 😊 – mentioned that the markets would close at noon. At home, we didn't have any meat or even grains that could serve as protein for lunch. And... we lost track of time, so we went out around 1pm to look for some food, and you can imagine what happened... No market or butcher shop was open.

We returned home and had a simple lunch: rice, eggs, and butter. But, come mid-afternoon, we were hungry again 😅. So, in the evening, we went out to find a place to get some food.

Hi, one of the things I love to do in my free time is crafts and I have always wanted to show them but I have a problem and that is that when I start making one I get so excited that I forget to take pictures of the materials I use and each step. In this post I wanted to talk about some little things I have made and you can make at home, super easy and beautiful, perfect for personal gifts or decorations. I will try to be very specific about the techniques I use as I don't have photos of some of the procedures.
