OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 1816th compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

The potential is a concept that transits in the mists of ideas and loses meaning to the extent that the effort to make it real is avoided. So, I start from the premise that will and action, together with or determined by circumstances, transform potential into reality. What is the use of crying over lost opportunities? The shadow of destruction looms over us, and we are forced to find strength where there seems to be none. As time passes, that pain and damage becomes yet another statistic, a great motif for countless true stories, and some are even distorted replicas of what we have experienced.

Everyone interprets the tragedy in their own way, making the experience of some victim of the disaster their own, transforming the suffering of others into a personal narrative that, although valid, cannot encompass the magnitude of the collective pain.

We are left with the feeling that all this is a bad dream from which we long to awaken. Looking out of the window, we long for nothing to have happened, for life to go on as before.

However, that hope is clouded by the shock of not being able to sleep, by that strange sensation that we are dead, walking among the living, looking for the reflection of our image in some shop window, as if we needed confirmation of our existence in a city that, with its dynamism, continues its course, trying to recompose its responsibilities in the present.

I bring to you all a musical piece from the bottom of my heart this day. Yeah, I changed location as you can obviously see in my background. My previous background has better aesthetic than this place.. but I'm the long run, what matters is the heart that renders the music.

January 2024 marked the beginning of a new school term after a long and restful Christmas break. The transition back to school life was a challenge for most of us. We had gotten used to waking up late, helping with household chores, and enjoying carefree days. Suddenly, we were back to the routine of early mornings, schoolwork, and classes. Adjusting wasn’t easy, but that day was about to take an unexpected turn.

Yesterday, by pure chance, I came across a reel that showed two warplane pilots doing a test called G-force (force of gravity), and although I was just going to swipe my finger quickly across the screen, the video definitely caught me by the eye by the overwhelming distortion that their faces suffered while they were part of the experiment, "which was not an experiment," is conclusive proof of a person's physical resistance, and their state of health to be able to be pilots or astronauts.

Singing and memorizing songs is a great way to have fun and pass time, singing makes me feel good and it frees my mind from anxiety. In fact I feel like I often sing my anxiety away. There are a lot of soothing songs, good for the soul and I enjoy ones with very good lyrics and tunes.

That being said, till today, I enjoy watching different cartoons, and the songs interest me so much. In line with this contest, I'll share one song that I have memorized from a cartoon I watched years back. I memorized the song then, studied the lyrics, and till today I haven't forgotten it.
I think the song was from TinkerBell and the Lost Treasure, one of the cartoon movie watched years back.

Greetings friends of Hive, welcome to my post once again, I am Nitsu and on this occasion I want to share with you the process I carry out to carry out these pencils of the character ´´Manos´´ from the well-known series…. And to begin, I tell you that it was taking me a lot to get the base file to print with my machines, so to stop wasting time I decided to do it myself. I took a base file by hand and with the Mesh Mixer I decided to hollow out the piece, once I got the desired result I exported it to the 3D laminating program to print.

The mushroom I used that known as Craterellus tubaeformis or yellowlegs. They are very common here and sometimes can get a bucket full of them. They are a little different than normal chanterelle and the taste is very mild, much better to use together with other veggies or soups. Easier to taste just stir-fried.

December is finally here, Christmas is here! December is my favorite month of the year and I enjoy it from beginning to end, especially because I get together with my friends, my family, plus I enjoy shopping, food, walks and rest.
