Other Niche Communities Curation Report #522

OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 522nd compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

The Flowers of My Potted Blackberry and Raspberry

I was lucky to have gotten a thornless blackberry bush last year. Yesterday, I had fun looking at the flowers of this plant since some buds have opened and showed its real beauty under the temp of 25°C . And so I got my smartphone to shoot some of its pink flowers. This thornless variety is a modern development and I am anxious at how it will be when the berries become matured. Are they sweet and juicy? Let us see.

#WednesdayWalk : ancient artifact and dying village

This post for Wednesday walk challenge. Walk through the village of Rychkovo, which is located almost on the border between the Samara and Orenburg regions. The village is small, according to the 2010 census - a little less than 400 people. Now even less. Many houses are half abandoned. Perhaps their owners come there only in the summer. Although, apparently, once the village was large, with a large landowner's estate, a large park with a lake and a distillery. Now it is all in ruins.

WorldbuildingWednesday - Characters (Part 2)

Last time, I talked a bit about how important extra characters are for the media you're producing, and what the purpose for the character you're adding is. Today, I'm going to look at two different types of characters, and I'm going to show some templates I use for each.

Wednesday Walk Around My Town In Spring

To the right of where the display stood there is a beautiful reddish maple tree. I took photos of it's leaves in different shades, from different angles many times before. The veins of a leaf seen close up never seize to amaze me. Speaking of - I'd recommend you click on the maple leaf photo to enlarge it look at that beautiful bokeh.

Insaciable Esclavitud: Trance entre Páginas [ESP-ENG]

The world has injustices, but this is vaguely mine... I have already said it before, poverty is having nothing, even to defend yourself from the excesses and demons that surround you is impossible. Atypical, it seems that it is not so, and simply my heart has been broken in the very empires of the circumstances that frame my existence.

La represa siempre se vuelve a llenar

Long were the walks of the women of my house, led by my mother looking for water to a distant place, this was the first task that we were taught as children in those common months of dry weather, when the water of our dam was exhausted by complete leaving only a large space full of lumps that we children used to take out to imagine that they were cakes.

¿Es que acaso existirá un límite? habrá una edad en la que los hijos no le duelan a una madre? - [ESP-ENG]

Dear friends, I am passing by to greet you and wish you a wonderful week full of health and family love. Today I want to talk to you about a topic that has been going around and around in my head these days and it is the excessive love of a mother for a child. Since I became a mother from the first moment I understood my mother and I knew that my life would no longer be mine but my children's, it is that there is a force inside that constantly means that there are no more thoughts that are not linked to our children .

Beauty does not discriminate

We often say "men love with their eyes" beauty shines through our eyes. Not only men, I feel that each of us loves beauty, no matter what. Yes, I mean the beauty of flowers, often attributed to the beauty of women. But all flowers have male and female elements on a flower bud, it doesn't distinguish anyone unless that person is too hasty to glance at it. Their serene and colorful beauty of life always makes us feel loving and kind. Of course I'll just look at them instead of taking them back to my room, for others to enjoy.

Introducing "Adobong Sitaw" - One of my All-time Favorite Dish to Cook

Today I will share with you guys one of the easiest dishes that always cook because it is so easy to prepare and cook. The dish contains only one main ingredient and the rests are species and condiments and it only requires easy steps to get the cooking done in no time. The dish is called "Adobong Sitaw" in our local language and Sitaw is the equivalent of "String Beans" in English.
