It is likely books such as this will not be available in the future due to their accurate prediction of our modern day dystopia. Orwell understood (like Huxley) there is only one logical outcome for the kind of world in which we live, though unlike Huxley (who proposed a society controlled by pharmaceutic means & lust for sex) he believed total control would be achieved through a more basic 'boot on face' mechanism.
