I found a small species of nocturnal lepidopteran that landed on the wall of my house. As their living habits are at night, they are called Heteroceros and are flying insects belonging to the Noctuidae family, with an approximate size of 2.5 cm long and with opaque colors for a butterfly.
This type of flying insect is attracted by the light in the room and flutters in various directions until landing on one of the walls and it was the precise moment to photograph it. Since it keeps its wings attached to its body, then it is a moth. Two outstanding morphological qualities can also be highlighted: its body is very thick and fat (globose), compared to diurnal butterflies. The second characteristic is that its head and abdomen are covered with fine hairs that resemble stuffed hair.
