Handmade wedding glasses

in #ocd4 years ago

This is another set of wedding glasses realised by me. This design is very simple to do if you have some basic skills for modelling clay.

I made the roses out of clay, let them dry and then I applied gold paint. I used, again, some spare jewelry I no longer needed and the silver chain and spheres are from an old necklace of mine.

I used some rhinestones and some gold thread and with my 5 minute dual epoxy from Bison I glued everything on the glass.

The white feather is from an old pair of sandals. Although I used what I had in the house, the glasses look like new hahaha. I love how the handmade roses look on these glasses.

Have a lovely day and toodle loo!

They look great and I would not have guessed that the flowers could be made from clay. Nice work.

Are these for a particular wedding?

Thank you! Just as a hobby😊

Wow. That's the kind of extra touch that can help make a big day a big success! Nice work. 😁

Thanks so much! 🌞

Very creative!

Do you make these to sell or are these like special requests people ask you to make?

Mostly as a hobby, I have an idea to start trying to sell

That’s awesome! I think having a little website where you can put up your services and art would be a cool place to start

Hihi, that is not a bad idea! I thought about it, but I have so many sides of my creative endevours I have a difficult time figuring it out. If I make a personal website, should I throw everything out there? My drawings, my bodypaintings, my handmade stuff, my writing? I feel like it would be such a creative stew lol. Also a possibility for selling my art, maybe do custom work too? Ah my head hurts only when I think about it. Oh and I should include somehow my book reviews too. Oh my, now this would be a super massive creativemary stew😂😂

How would you approach this issue? How do you see it? I like that in your posts your way of thinking is very clear and direct, very focused. If you were me, with my skills, talents etc, how would you build your site to match the talent and also increase exposure? I would love your perspective on this😊

I would combine it under one brand the same way I do my own site so I do different things too from SEO to email marketing

So I’d have my homepage let’s say creative Mary and then have sections so

Creative literature

  • book reviews
  • creative writing

Creative design

  • art
  • body paint
  • drawings

Creative requests

  • custom drawings

That way you always have a way to expand under the same brand but it still makes sense and people can be exposed to what they want or they can check out your other services

It also make a great place to curate all the things you do from your various social media accounts and send all users to one point which is your website

Ohhhh you are so right with this! I know who I will be talking to when I will need my website, darn you're so smart I love it! Thanks😊

Any website or digital marketing questions, I'm happy to help with lol I hardly switch off when it comes to work so I'm always willing to share my thoughts on it

Looks so beautiful and elegant.

Thank you for your appreciation🌞✌️

Wow, it's that I have seen your glasses before, so that I knew they were real glasses. But, at first glance, I thought I was looking at a painting honestly :)

Very creative again!
