YouTube has restricted or even deleted some videos related to cryptocurrency, say several YouTubers. The news quickly spread to Twitter and Reddit.

One of the first to sound the alarm seems to be Ben Perrin, the marketing director of the Bull Bitcoin exchange and host of an educational channel on YouTube on cryptocurrency, BTC Sessions, a channel with 31,500 subscribers. He said the platform has posted one of its beginner education videos three years ago. The reason they gave is that it violates the guidelines of the YouTube community. "It was literally a video on wallets, how to buy Bitcoin and where to use it," says the creator. "If I have three more reports of this type, the channel will be closed."

Additionally, another great YouTuber, considered one of the oldest creators of crypto content on the platform, Chris Dunn, also tweeted that most of his videos were deleted for the same reason.
