Interesting article about how a local college is working to help workers transition into offshore wind farming technology. I'm all for helping the environment in any way we can, including wind farming, I'm just not sure that the tech is there yet. In particular, I'm worried about all the metals that need to be mined from the earth to make these things work. I think things are moving that way, but are we there right now.....?

I agree that nobody is talking about digging up all these metals to build the farms and batteries.

It'll probably bring high paying jobs if nothing else, but at what cost to taxpayers....

I'm sure the taxpayers will lose, lol

What are they saying about when the hurricanes roll through the wind farm fields?
