So we heard the news that a new park that I saw every time I went to work during its construction days is now finally open. The best part is that it is free to enter. Well, I'm not that excited about it, but the kids are. They keep telling me that they really want to go there to play and see for themselves.
Lucky for them, I went home early from work and still have the energy to be their companion while they play. Well, the truth is, I can't hardly say no to whatever they want. It is always my priority that, while these kids are still young, I will be by their side as much as possible.
Actually, the park was built by a rich businessman here who lost a local election the last time it was held. Surely he wants to earn the people's trust and will definitely run again as mayor next year.
The place looks very clean and has beautiful designs. I really like the grass. In this kind of place, which for decades has been long gone in favor of urbanization, the last local park was demolished in favor of a shopping mall.
We hit the road before sunset, and we let the kids play for 2 hours. Before we went home, we hit a burger stand and took home some pizzas, burgers, and fries. The kids really enjoyed the day.
Next blog soon. :)
