As a start, let me just appreciate you guys for being accommodating to me. For sure, I will return the favor to you.
Let me share how I started the church I am pastoring right now.
God has called us to move out from our former ministry to plant a new church in the place where we live now in Cabanatuan City. This ministry is a result of our passionate prayers, seeking His will and listening to counsels of loving people around us. And now, God’s new assignment to us is now blossoming.
Last February 16, 2014, I gathered few people close to my heart and shared to them the vision of starting a new church. I only asked 3 or 4 people to come for a Sunday fellowship, but 11 adults and 2 children showed up.
I poured out my heart to them on how I see the future of this church. I told them that this new ministry will be known as “The Father’s House” with the vision of being a dynamic Church becoming Christ-like in witnessing, discipling and leading. An independent church where will be a place of healing, encouragement and transformation of many lives.
A place where the love of the Father is shared and manifested.
I called that Vision Sunday. My brother asked me, “Sigurado ka na ba?” ('Are you sure?') Then I said “Yes” without a doubt. And they all accepted the challenge of working together towards the vision. They were all excited!
The following Sunday, we gathered again for our first worship celebration. But before that day, we conducted home visits and emailing friends and relatives to attend the new church. 19 people came! My wife designed our living room beautifully and converted it into a conducive, clean place of worship.

Starting this new work is not easy on our part. We literally put our money where our mouth is. We invest what we had to supply some basic necessities. Back then, we had a simple Fernando guitar, 20 monoblock chairs, Bibles, music stand as pulpit and other small ministry needs.
We thank God for that. He is the source of it all.
