The first 7 weeks has led to some amazing talent being featured on the PIF Contest. You willingness to take your personal time to curate others and help them earn more rewards is amazing!
Returning curators make sure to read below for the changes made to the rules this week!! After looking over the ideas that people came up with in my Help post I realized that my idea of making themed weeks wasn't going to work as I envisioned it. So here is what we came up with.
Week 8 Entry Post Format
For week 8 and future weeks you will need a curation style entry that includes 2 High Quality Original Content Blog Posts from Level 50 or Below Bloggers. This part hasn't changed except that you only need 2 of them.
- Curation Style Post of 2 Bloggers who are posting Quality Original Content
- Link to 1 recent blog post per featured blogger. Keep in mind that many will follow this link and upvote so pick a post that isn't close to payout!
- Include a link to this contest in your entry post
- The 2 bloggers you curate Must Be Rank 50 or Lower!
- You need to comment on this post with a link to your post, this is how I track everything!
Optional: Themed 3rd Featured Blogger
Starting this week there will be a 3rd optional blogger slot for you to feature. This is not required for an official entry and is purely optional if you want to add them.
This week the theme will allow you to Feature:
The Person Who Introduced You to Steemit or Who First Helped You Once on Steemit
This blogger can be Any Reputation Level! So it's just the opportunity for you to showcase someone who has made a difference to your steemit journey. A great way to say thank you to them and write a few nice words.

We are looking for Quality Original Content. We want to see no less then 200 words of original written content. So a single photo is fine as long as there is 200 words with it.
To make it easy to estimate 200 words figure there needs to be 12 lines of content.

What is a bounty exactly?
A bounty is money sent to a post to be distributed to the users commenting on it. It provides a way to reward users directly and works in addition to the steem/sbd they receive from the blockchain. It works independently of SteemPower.
You create a bounty by sending any amount of sbd/steem to @steem-bounty together with a post-url in the memo.
How can I earn a bounty Users are then competing for the bounty by writing their answers to the post in comments that will achieve upvotes from the community and especially the bounty creator. The money of the bounty gets distributed to all top level comments of the post at the same time when the post is paid out (7 Days after it was written). How much everyone gets depends on the votes the comments received. The sender of the bounties votes are weighted higher so that she decideds where 80% of the bounty money goes and all other votes determine the rest.@steem-bounty does all of this for you automatically. You can use this service to automatically pay out a challenge, ask a hard question or simply to reward the people that interact with you.

Crypto is a difficult world. Just over the last weeks, two projects I had invested in... collapsed. I might as well had put it all on Steem. Stupid me. 😣
I keep debating moving more of my money into steem from other coins. Each time I debate it Steem seems to jump in price and I decide not to then I wait to long after it comes down as I always think it might go a little lower...lol.
Sorry you dealt with that. Hurts when that happens, but at least you are still here and positive about steem!
Yes, this Crypto world is still a mess. One of the projects collapsed because the team was hacked and someone stole all their ETH and coins of the project. Damn criminals... :-/
These kind of things make me think the Ethereum Network is not that as safe as some preach it. Whenever there's a hack, it seems that an Ethereum token is always the victim.
Now I'm starting to focus on other projects, which aren't Ethereum tokens and have their own blockchains. Aside from STEEM, my favourites are ARK, KMD, AION, ICON, WAN, IOC & SYS.
I'm also focusing on a few currencies, like Dash, Decred and Monero.
As for Ethereum tokens, I'll start thinking a lot more before I invest in them again.

I think coming down to two is good as it stops overlap and just makes it easier for everyone, also as this thing expands....!
On the overlap thing, I did a quick trawl through my 35-49 rep followers (given the new sorting feature and) - it's amazing/ depressing/ a coincidence how many of those who post anything of substance feature in these leagues.
I'll stick with amazing that we are finding that high of a percentage of the good ones! Also I'm guessing you added a couple from seeing them in these types of contests so that would skew things a little.
I'm ok if someone gets featured again if they have written a great post and still fall under level 50 so don't be excluding purely because someone else featured them at some point.

I wish I could join in this league but yet not sure how to proceed as i feel myself as tiny fish and really feels afraid by seeing you such whales playing freely in this big ocean. The way this contest is formatted also motivates one to bring changes or colors to other steemiens.

Your vote still has value when it's added to a post or comment that will be above the "dust vote" level. Really as a newer member with a small vote it's best used on posts as a few small votes like yours will equal a penny.
As for entering the contest, there are plenty of others that are your level that have entered. Don't ever let your lack of experience stop you from trying something. Worst case you fail and have to try again, but this is how you grow and learn. You can't get better at something without actually doing it. This contest doesn't judge based on your reputation score or voting power, purely on the quality of the blog posts you feature as part of your entry.

Adding to what @thedarkhorse said @angelro, it dosent matter whether youre a tiny fish like me or a whale like them, what matters is the sincerity at which you put in your writing. Like i said, am a tiny fish like yourself maybe even smaller but that didnt discourage me... I actually thought of it as an opportunity i wouldnt want to miss and so i went to the comments on my posts since i only knew one person with the requirement because i was still fresh. I searched my for genuine and sincere comment and i found my people. After reading their post myself, i was beyond convinced that they were the one for me and i sincerely wrote about them from my heart and their works. I was a nervous wreck untill week 7 winners announcement was posted and i went through it... I was beyond happy to see that i featured as one of the winners. So you see, its not really about been big or small, its about been devoted, consistent,openhearthed and sincere. You should really add your entry to that list...who knows, you might catch the judges fancy.

This is not how you enter the contest. You need to read the post which outlines what you are supposed to do. This is a curation contest. Look at any of the other entries and see how they structure their posts. This is about featuring others, not yourself.

You proved your comprehension of the site is not good as on mine the comment you copy pasted was done on a post past payout. You are not worth my downvote as I already don't have enough upvotes for those deserving. But I do wish your karma to find you as you continue shitting on other peoples work and kind gestures.
