Pegaxy to the Moon!

Just only months ago, a new play-to-earn game started its journey to the moon. Not with spaceships, but with horses!

Pegaxy , a racing game composed of NFT horses, is now gaining attraction due to its strength even during the cold and seemingly long crypto bear market. The game features horses -- called Pegas, that you can either race, rent, and even breed with other Pegas. Players gain tokens (called Vigorus, or VIS) everytime a horse places in the Top 3 spots in a race, and these tokens can either be traded (for some cash), or swapped for some Pegaxy Stones (PGX) that can be used for breeding more Pegas, or renting someone's Pega in the Renting place. Since its conception, there have been just over 132,000 Pegas minted, and the floor price for a Pega now went up to more than 1,800 USD (as of February 3, 2022), and mind you, the price of Pegas on its initial release can go as low as 100 USD each.

Gameplay
The gameplay right now is still based on Random Number Generation (meaning, the races are dependent on the Pega and race statistics, leading to a fair opportunity to place in the top 3) , as the skill-based gameplay is yet to be released later this year (Pegaxy Whitepaper, 2022).

Opportunity for Building
Pegaxy also showcases a renting system that can help people (like me) to play a Pega and eventually own one. As said in the previous paragraphs, Pegas can be rented with a fraction of price that goes to the owner and the player (called Share Profit) and the Pay Rent scheme where a player will pay an amount of PGX tokens to play a Pega for a set period of time. Guilds also offer scholarships now to introduce more players into the game.

My Scholarship Opportunity
With more than 1,000 scholars and 50,000 Discord members, Real Deal Guild (RDG) offers scholarships to introduce people in the world of blockchain gaming to world, and give people economic opportunities through Play-to-Earn revolution. With partnerships on different projects, RDG helped many scholars became managers of their own scholarship projects, leading to a bigger community of leaders who contribute to the building of the metaverse. Community Projects
Due to the rising prices of Pegas, @AxieBuzz led a community project called #PegaBucks, a fractional ownership program where people invest as low as 50USD to be a part owner of a Pega and its earnings. With that, it is estimated that the initial value invested will suffice for a person to afford to buy their own Pega after 6 months, when the profits are all reinvested in the program (given the market conditions are still the same on the moment it started). Projects like this also helps people enter the world of NFT gaming at a much lower cost, introducing more and more people to the world of Play-to-Earn.
