Dinamulag Festival is also known as the Zambales Mango festival, is said to be a week long celebration which is held annually. I was not familiar with this particular festival, not until we passed by a parade for its official opening while traveling towards the other part of Zambales. We were not able to have a stop over that time, but we made sure to have a stop over when we were already heading back to Manila.
The time we spent in the vicinity of the celebration was just enough for us to took some photos and bought some mangoes. There were mango decorations too aside from the actual mangoes that you can buy from the local vendors. There were other products made from mangoes that you can also buy including mango puree and dried mangoes.
Zambales was known for its sweet mangoes and no doubt that it is their major crop as you can see mango trees almost everywhere in their towns. You can manage to see some mango plantations while on the road trip. The most popular kind of mango in their area is the Dinamulag variety that is why their festival was named that way.
All photos were taken using my mobile phone.
