RE: Slavery: What exactly is it?

in #philosophy7 years ago

But actually impossible to be no ones slave.

If you have a choice then it is possible. By choice meaning you won't be enslaved, etc. Think of a hermit. That's a good example. So it's not impossible.

Difficult. Sure. Yet, is it voluntary (meaning without coercion), or force?

Sort:

Expansion into space is the only chance for humanity, Mars, no matter where, it is a breath of freedom and hope. All resources must be allowed into space. it sounds militantly idealistic, but if you think about .... war after war the whole history of mankind, one form of slavery replaces another ... all times

So far. That is different from impossible. I am a stickler for absolutes. They usually are false. Though I do agree with you that it is ALMOST ALWAYS that way. There are exceptions and all it takes is a single exception for an absolute to be false. Thus, why I say it is not impossible. I am like a dog with a bone when it comes to absolutes. Sometimes I can be a little obsessive about them. My apologies for that. ;)

nonono.. all OK!!! ))) Continue ;)
