Any tips on what to do if you do follow that link and got phished?
Think living in Japan made me less cautious :(
What you do is start https://steemit.com/recover_account_step_1 with the email you signed up with. If you didn't get completely locked out, disable access to all the posting apps (via steemconnect) and reset your password. Then check your steemd to see if your active authority or vesting route got changed.
Thanks for the heads up, I try to always make ure of the website link in the browser above before I steemconnect, but sometimes I forget so thanks for the reminder.
