Three days ago I made a post and within seconds received two comments.

One was your garden variety spammer and the other was a long comment asking me to go and see his post.

Right next to the link was a very small notification icon informing me that the link will take me out of Steemit. If you hover over it it will make you see that it redirects to a sleemit .com site.

I called out the scammer and he even had the gall to deny it lol. I also reported it to steemcleaners right away and boom not even an hour the account was downvoted to oblivion and greyed out. I even got a nice SP bounty from steemcleaners.

Torico was enough to even come in and downvote and start warning people on the link the scammer left on a lot of posts.

We have to be very vigilant and careful and when I am in Steemit using my mobile device I don't click on any links period.

Better safe than sorry.

Now number 6 seems the best way as if we can get an account down to 15 reputation they should be greyed out.

I agree last one is hard to do so many assholes in the world trying to make a fast buck by scamming people.

They need a high five to the face with a steel chair!
