#949 - Monochrome Street Scenes in Baguio City for Monday.
Happy Monday dearest Hiveans! A new week brings fresh opportunities so let's embrace them with courage and optimism. Let go of yesterday’s doubts and focus on today’s potential. Challenges are there not as roadblocks but invitations for us to grow. Lean into our strengths and trust that every effort no matter how small, builds toward something greater. Together, as a Hive community, we rise by lifting each other. The world needs your light so shine it brightly! 🐝✨ #MondayMotivation #HiveStrong
Now for our daily shots this time in monochrome, here's a shot in Malcolm Square in Baguio City where groups of people occupy the round wooden benches under the trees while each lost in their own world. Friends chat with laughter mingling with the noise of passing jeepneys. Others just sit silently, scrolling phones or looking into the distance. Nearby, jeepneys come and go but the square retains a calm presence of people.
An elderly couple strolled a few meters apart and both dressed in their elegant attire, the the man in a jacket, the woman in a flower dress. Each of the elder carried a motorcycle helmet which means they have a shared ride parked nearby. Their quiet distance spoke of decades of companionship. A timeless portrait of enduring love and quiet rebellion.
The park filled with life as vendors showcased their street treats: those fluffy cotton candies on sticks and crispy chicharon baboy in plastic packs. Children will flock to the sugary candies while adults like us will go around the savory stalls, dipping crackling pork into spicy vinegar. So far only a few customers but during weekends here is a different atmosphere.
Here's a young man strides in the middle of the crosswalk carrying an ecobag that is heavy with groceries over his shoulder. Beside him was an elderly woman moves slowly. Vehicles stand idle patiently at the light, engines noise were soft as drivers wait.

I like this monomad photography of yours. People in all walks of life, minding their own business. Some work hard just to survive in a day. Some are waiting for someone or something. Some are running errands. Just people living and striving day by day.
Thank you madam 😊
