My girlfriend and I went travelling last year, noodling around Asia for a few months. I've just gotten around to uploading the thousands of photos from my poor, overladen phone (it's become about as quick as treacle) and came across two of my favourites. No filters or anything like that applied - I'm not photographer, and just grabbed these using my plain'ol Lennovo P2, but we got a little lucky with the lighting I feel :)
Both were taken in Hanoi, a couple of days apart. The beautiful lake just outside of the old quater, if anyone ever gets a chance to go, I'd recommend it strongly. Banh Mi sandwhiches & traditional Egg-coffee, my heart aches a little just thinking about it! Sitting here, in Wales, eating toast and drinking tea.
It's not bad, but it's not Banh Mi.

Aaaahh I can't contain the jealousy! Amazing, how are you finding it? We went about it the opposite way - Hoping to get back and see the South sometime soon. Any suggestions on must-see bits and bobs?
Well if you didn't check out the mountains at all definitely do that, but be weary of the bus service! It's a scary ride sometimes. We loved De Lat and Mui Ne!!

There ain't nothing wrong with Wales. Ain't nothing wrong with the Appalachians but I get what you mean. I have this overwhelming desire to travel to Asia. Never been. And perhaps a fun fact. After years of being a photografer I have a terriable phone camera and rarely take pictures when I travel. Guess I will have to change the now.
Nah you know what I mean, I love Wales it's my home, but seeing all of these new places definitely opens your eyes a little to how much more there is out there.
Haven't had the pleasure to visit the Appalachians, I'm guessing there's some good climbing out there?
