Having been this close to a panther, also separated by glass, I know what you mean!
This was in Florida, and we were pressing our noses against the glass trying to catch a glimpse of the big cat in captivity which was nowhere in sight. Then, just as we were about to leave, it came leaping right up to us, apparently, interested in the very young child standing next to me...thinking, lunch?
