Mental and Astral Projection

Hey everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you enjoy the holidays! In this article I would like to go into an occult topic and look forward if you can expand your knowledge.

Astral or mental projection is a phenomenon that is also counted as occult or supernatural experience which has been intensively researched in parapsychology for decades and is also deeply anchored in history. It's also considered as a psychic ability in which the soul leaves the human body and already the ancient Egyptians or other important cultures who mainly associated this phenomenon with religious experiences and sought less scientific explanations for it were interested in out-of-body experiences. Over time, people began to find ways to create these experiences artificially and this included to put people in trance or hypnosis and not infrequently certain things such as sounds or other ways were used and a good example is shamanism where practises were used which resulted in people leaving their bodies. These experiences were used specifically to get in touch with higher beings or to heal people and through progress in science were always searched for new ways to create these conditions artificially and for researchers, it's particularly interesting what importance the human consciousness has and which areas of the brain are active during these experiences. There were many nobles or other influential personalities in the past who had invested many funds to investigate occult phenomena as well as astral projection more and not only the phenomenon, but also the circumstances under which it occurred was of great relevance in research and some people recognised that this phenomenon also occurs in sleep and especially in people who mastered techniques with which they could control dreams such as lucid dreaming was of interest and also in connection with sounds or other technologies a lot of research was carried out. When it comes to frequencies, especially the Theta waves are interesting to generate this phenomenon which move in a range between 4 - 8 Hz, but there are numerous other results of frequencies which have been specifically researched and so frequencies between 63 - 70 Hz can also be used specifically to create these moments. In addition to influencing dreams or using frequencies, meditation exercises can also be interesting and parapsychology is roughly about recognising the circumstances under which it occurred and finding ways in which it can be generated and here there are certainly thousands of case reports.

My pragmatic side would say there's nothing like that, but then sometimes there are strange things that gives doubt, I would like to try hypnosis myself 😅

Happy that you are interested in the topic, I can also recommend you to deal more closely with parapsychology if you are more interested in the topic.

What’s the meaning of lucid dreaming? I’d love to know

It's a form of clear dreaming, that you consciously perceive dreams and learn to control them. To explain it briefly.. There are different techniques to learn it :)

I think the only "higher power" they can connect to is evil jinns.

Anyway, interesting read :)

Thanks
