What is Flower Psychology?

Good day everyone, first of all I would like to welcome you all to my new contribution and hope you had a weekend which has brought some positive experiences into your life! In my new post I would like to present some pictures and go into more detail on an interesting psychological topic and I am happy if you can learn new things.

Flowers enchant the entire environment and are not only important for the survival of thousands of living beings and their ecological aspects, but also have an interesting effect on the human psyche and this usually quite subliminally. When people see flowers, this leads to the fact that well-being increases and stress is alleviated and which effect exactly arises can be traced back to several influences and in addition to the entire location, colors also have a significant factor and while yellow flowers tend to trigger feelings of happiness, red are rather associated with passionate moments, but the exact effect must always be considered individually because each person has different experience values. Often these experiences are also associated with certain moments, which are deeply anchored in the subconscious, such as during a walk along a flower field while people were just in a conversation and talking about a certain topic and moments like these are also connected with sensory impressions of the environment. Other sensory impressions are also linked to plants such as sounds of insects or birds which have an additional effect on the psyche and if someone, for example, receives a certain flower as a gift, this person links this moment with the chirping of birds or the hum of bees.

It's also interesting what happens in the brain and through the release of chemical substances in the brain people notice certain feelings which are also linked to moments and a good example is the emission of the happiness hormone domain which results in people feeling good and a feeling of euphoria arises when flowers are seen. The whole psychological aspects have an enormous influence on the overall behaviour and can also help people fight against physical diseases and because people usually interact with plants as by planting or watering, it comes to a kind of relationship being built and it has been shown that this influences the entire behaviour of the person. It can be said that flowers can be used specifically as medicine and to trigger different types of emotions and for every kind of feeling there is the right flower with which the garden or interiors can be designed as it's currently desired and also the studies on this topic are clear and show what great benefit flowers can have for therapeutic purposes. When people have flowers nearby, a feeling of increased vibrations or grounding is often reported and of course the air-cleansing effect of the flowers has an additional influence on the mental well-being.

Flowers and colours are therapeutic, I also feel some kind of elation when I am in the midst of some flowers.

Happy to hear that :)
