Toy Review: Hasbro Titanium Series Pt. III - Jabba's Desert Skiff

To conclude the three-part review of the Hasbro Titanium Series, I present to you Jabba's Desert Skiff! It appeared in Return of the Jedi where it carried Luke Skywalker to the desert as Jabba the Hutt sentenced him to death by beating eaten by the Sarlacc. Its in-universe specifications state that it is a Bantha-II cargo skiff.

It is produced with its standard clamshell packaging and the standard series display stand. The model is a mix of die-cast metal and plastic parts. Same as the other models, it is 3 inches long.

What makes this model stand out from the other ones I have is it has three movable parts. Like in the movie, it has an extendable plank at its left side. The maneuvering fins at the rear can be rotated.

One feature of this vehicle that was not shown in the film is its landing struts. There are three landing struts at the bottom of the skiff that can be lowered. This means that the ship can land when it is not levitating.

Compared to the other three ships I have, this one is the best in terms of paint job and sculpt. The overall paint, along with the weathered effects, are crisp. The same goes for the sculpting.

Like the other ships in the series, it costs $8.
