It was $10 USD for a can of beer at a store on the strip. Inflation big time I talked about inflation on a previous post here.
I am fascinated by an algorithmic protocol that uses cryptographic hashes & public key cryptography. It rewards participants with another protocol that retains its value called a bitcoin, all for validating a ledger called the blockchain on a peer-to-peer decentralized transparent public network you don't have to trust. It's (BITCOIN) inflation or deflation is in the math and not deceptive like central banking.
I am heading to Vancouver this week to pick up the 1985 VW Van and take it to Seattle for more repairs. During those upgrades I will bounce to Thailand and while there get back to the Direct to Vendor Charity I founded 100% transparent using steemit, as well as do some research on donating into the Thailand education system teaching young women to speak English to help them with their future job prospects.

burning man has a art scholarship and Marco Cochrane the artist had own donations and money to and make it,
burning man also has a big project of moving art from burning man into the world. so the Bliss Dance can have a home after black rock city.

But a $10 can of beer is a bit too high if you ask me.

Improvent that Im mostly looking after on steem right now is private messages between users.
Lack of this forces me to leave the platform when I need to talk to someone from here and I have to ask publicly for someone details for contact. And either mine or theirs data is being revealed while doing so.
This is a major flaw.
Also some sort of notification, when somebody answered me would be useful.
Those things look tiny at first, but once introduced they prove to be very convenient and major improvements.
I know this from experience from other websites, so its not just a theory.
Inflation is coming in a big way. While I agree crypto will benefit from this as a store of value prospect outside of fiat, highly encourage many fellow Steemers to take a look at diversifying into commodities as well!
As the chart below indicates, commodities (hard assets) and Bitcoin (as a proxy for crypto) serving as a digital gold will be your best performing assets in an inflationary environment. Position accordingly!

Oh how I love Vegas. You can live it up as big as you want or be as simple as people watching and still have a blast. Before kids I used to go at least twice a year and even seriously debated moving there. Then realized it's so much fun because I don't live there...there can be to much of a good thing.
People keep thinking inflation isn't here because they just aren't noticing what companies have been doing to hide the truth. When you purchase almost anything at the grocery store the size is smaller then it was just 5 years ago yet the price has risen. The price increase doen't seem so bad until you realize you are also getting 5-15% less product.
Clothing companies are using lower grade fabrics. And so forth. It's a serious issue and people just aren't realizing how their dollar is becoming less and less valuable.

I think protocol and algorithm are different in nature but when put together it does wonders..
Like u did for only 10 $.... But yea hashing makes mapping of digital data of any arbitrary size to data of a fixed size while as removing a central authority for information exchange over the internet is already possible.

Everyone given trouble to BTC and all cryptos. Recently google banned any crypto related ads. But cryptos going their own way without stopping. Marvelous photography in las vegas.
