Capturing a photo on a macro scale is completely different than trying to capture an entire scene. It's the little details that make the photo interesting. It's the droplets on a leaf, or the lashes of an eye that make the photo magical. It's a different perspective that goes against what we are use to seeing. I'm not sure why, but my brain likes "different."
