This is the mountain, where I often go for a hike in Winter. There is also a very high transmitter tower on the peak.
I think, it is not easy to get such a job and you should not think, that it's an easy job.
You have to get up before sunrise and take care of the cattle and milk them. You have to make butter and cheese and you have to host the tourists, but over all you have to be friendly to the people who come and just want to have a rest at your cottage without consuming any of your products.
Oh no! we are thinking of two different jobs. I was thinking about the communications station up there, I figured it would be watching to make sure the equipment was working right. No thanks to all that stuff you talked about. lol.

With this communications job in the transmitter tower you may be right. All you might have to do would be to have a look, that everything is working 🙂

Oh, that's a very interesting shot too! I think it would be fun to work at a place like that.
This is, what I have thought too - it must be wonderful to work up there, but in Winter you might be quite alone, especially when there's bad weather.
