Bãi Dâu, Vietnam the Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ, and the Cross.

This statue of St. Mary and the Christ child was erected by Bishop Joseph Le Van in 1969, and the Cathedral of Saint Virgin Mary was reconstructed in 1994.
The Bãi Dâu site also include a walk of Jesus's arrest, condemnation and crucifixion a total of fourteen displays featuring multiple sculptures with the final one depicting the resurrection of Christ, and then a long staircase up to an empty cross on the hill looking down over the harbor.

Bãi Dâu is located about four hours south of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and this area also had the beaches closest to Ho Chi Minh, although that is the primary reason to visit those beaches.

Some serious steps, sick to either side and you'll be fine, trust me you'll be dragging yourself up by the railing anyways so don't worry.

And these guys make the pilgrimage everyday.

There are only a few clear views on the way and this is one of the most photo worthy in my opinion.

The cross overlooks the sea,

The way back down is even easier to appreciate.

It's nice that they let the trees grow, even right in the middle of the stairs.
