We tried a potential new tradition this year!
A local garden, Thanksgiving Point, started something new for autumn, the Scarecrow Festival. They event features dozens of classic and creative scarecrows, created by families and vendors to put together a fun display for the gardens.
We didn't learn of it until it was nearly over, but we headed out this weekend on a chilly evening when the wind was crazy! It definitely had its effect on some of the scarecrows. This one, one of my favorites, ended up bending over at the waist due to the repeated gusts of wind.
I loved the classic scarecrows all along the trail. I especially liked the Raggedy Ann/Raggedy Andy type of cute scarecrows.
They really do put you in a perfect autumn mood, don't they?
There were also some more creative offerings, but we're going to get to that with the next post. 😉 Stay tuned!
Posiblemente podría convertirse en una nueva y bonita tradición, yo lo veo innovador
