Texas sunsets

Ok, so I'm new to this site, and am going to try submitting a few photos and the stories behind them. Here goes...

There are a lot of things I like about living in Texas (no, one of them is NOT the heat), and from a passionate photographer's standpoint there are so many more. Some of my favorite things about Texas are the never-ending beautiful sunsets we have here. I don't know if it's the dust, the air, or what, but we seem to get a lot of real fiery ones. And I have tried to catch a few.
This photo was taken earlier this year with a Nikon D7000 camera. We had lots of rain back then, not so much now, and the tanks and washes were filled quite nicely after each one. I really like the reflection in this photo.

This photo I took last year at about the same spot on the road as the photo above. I like to call it "Fire in the Sky" for obvious reasons. Just can't get enough of the reds, oranges and yellows in the sunsets we have here!

The photo above I took two days ago as we walked up the road to the front gate. The rainstorm was passing us by unfortunately, but it did give me a chance to take this great photo. I shot it with a Nikon Coolpix P90. I took that one because it was lighter. I had to do some enhancing of the colors but they are as close as I could get to how the sunset actually was.
