Vienna – the City Of Music

in #photography6 years ago

Vienna, Austria

Interesting fact is that Vienna has been voted the world’s most livable city for the last 7 years in a row. Taking into account such factors as political, social and economic, medical care, education, infrastructural conditions...

Also, Vienna is called The City of Music, because famous composers have lived here... And 4 of the top 10 classical composers in history worked in Vienna between 1750 and 1825. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, Johann Straus and Johannes Brahms are just a few who called Vienna home.

Ok, I will stop it for now 😷😋 and show you some photos, but before start, I want to tell you that this is my last post about Vienna and I put photos from all 3 days in this post..

Let's start 📸

The German name for Vienna is Wien. So yes, that means Austria’s most famous dish, the wiener schnitzel, translates to Viennese schnitzel. The proper serving of the dish is breaded veal with a side of parsley potatoes or a potato cucumber salad.

Almost 3 million people a year visit the church, St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Thirteen bells hang from the tallest tower, and it is accessible by climbing 343 steps. Composers Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart have both worked in the church.
