City in fog

Low fogs over the city is extremely rare phenomenon in Warsaw. They usually occur in the autumn season, after transparent (and humid nights), during sunrise. Mists can not be predicted until the end, because this is a phenomenon that sometimes occurs in very small areas, it is also very variable. The forecast www.meteo.pl remains probably the best source that can help us determine if the mists will appear. However, it happened to me several times that despite the data announcing low haze, it did not happen.

What a surprise I had when one day the fogs continued to persist in the afternoon! I did not expect it, that's why I packed the drone quickly in my backpack and hurried to the center. Along the way I reported the planned flight, and finally I chose the wide sidewalk at ul. Towarowa, near Warsaw Trade Tower. After quickly spreading I flew up, surprisingly keeping the drone still in sight. What did the drone see in turn? See for yourself:

Low fog persisted until sunset. From what it resulted - I have no idea. It was also interesting that the drone from the ground was visible all the time, and at the very preview it would seem that the clouds are all around. Also watch the video I shot at the same time:
