Today I tried anonna fruit for the first time. They are a member of the custard apple family - until today I had only sampled the cherimoya in Spain, of the same family.
The anonna was amazing! Absolutely ripened to perfection, in fact another day or two would have been almost too late. The taste is to me a slightly appley tasting , sweet and creamy rice pudding.
Quite extraordinary and extremely satiating as rice pudding too. Half this fruit was almost more than I could manage.
Needless to say I have collected the seeds and am ready to plant them.
The tree this one came from is far away in the mountainous jungle which says to me I need to grow a load of these trees and plant them all around here.
I collected about 40 seeds from this one so fingers crossed they all grow. I feel very confident they will.
We grow chirimoyas here in Colombia! They are fun to grow as well, they are very prunable.
Delicious good to hear thanks for your comment

Never seen such fruits... Send me one to try :D ( just joking, no one would send anything to Russia) :
Thanks for your comment. I never tried posting anything to Russia. Is it a tricky business?
Here in El Salvador we uses annona reticulata i think it is another type. Thanks for the descripcions.
That is interesting. Oh yes that reticulate is more like the one I knew from Spain
