Loving Your Colors

Are you artistic?

What would you say to that? I would say I'm not, even though I love to write. My husband is an amazing photographer, but shares my opinion about himself, that he is not an artsy guy. So we were a bit surprised with our sons new obsession - coloring.

Well, if you can call random scribbles coloring then yes, he is a Picaso in the making. Just kidding. If I know one thing about my little one that is his ability to concentrate and stay focused. Even now, in his young age, or even earlier when he was under one year old, he could do one thing for hours. He always knew how to play and be entertained by himself. It's no wonder that coloring suits his personality.

One other thing he loves is getting dirty. I think that's just a boy side of him. The messier the better. As shown in the photo below.

I mean, you can't fake that happiness, right?

He also loves to share and make it a joint play, offering you colors (literally putting them in your hand) and now you can color together. That takes me back to my childhood, when I had the time and the ability to be so absent minded to just color.

Is he going to be artistic, I don't know or care, as long as he is enjoying himself, I will provide the patience and coloring material. Along with some strong stain remover.
