@nickyhavey I’m sorry... but I definitely disagree with the sign up process you mentioned.
We have worked so incredibly hard to decentralize the Hive Blockchain. We have sacrificed and invested time and money to that end... to allow Facebook or Google the curation of our digital sovereignty and security would certainly be convenient but a massive miss-step to say the least.
We do need to make access MUCH easier... but this is going to have to be done like everything else on the Hive Blockchain. From the ground up.
Innovation takes time and with all things worth doing... fast is slow and slow is fast.

Fully understand the reasoning for not going the way of FB/Google sign up with what you said. I still think there should be some familiarity about the sign up process though and email address is what us casuals are used to when signing up for social media sites.
I guess what I'm getting at is removing the need for a casual user to know what a posting key, active key, memo key is etc and have those functions running in the background as they go about exploring this place.
