#376 - Orange bell shape flowers and some street art next to Victory Liner Baguio.
Good day once again beautiful Hiveans. I just wanted to share first some of my activity yesterday. After we finished our stressful shift, my wife and I went once again to the river in the town proper area to have a walk while I will make a jog of it. So after hopping off the jeepney we first walk for some hundred meters. After getting warmed up I already started my jog while she does this fast walking like those in walkathons. I went ahead of her and made it in the farthest area we always get to and turned back. I waited for her for some time then we made our way back walking. We dropped by the market to drink fresh buko or coconut juice. There is a store there that sells young buko for $0.50 each so we bought two and drink it there as well. The coconut meat is still soft since the fruit we chose were young. I like it that way, the meat is easier to eat. That's a summary of some of my activity yesterday. What was yours?
Moving on, before we left Baguio City we had to wait for our bus to leave and there were more than fifty minutes left before it will depart, so we went to this nearby Jollibee fastfood to get some takeouts that we can eat while on the go. They also have these street arts on the wall of the back of the building.
The street arts depicts the life of the locals in this region which are the Igorot people.
Then there's also these flowers that I took photos of when we were in the Groto area. The flowers look like bells and there were bees too but got scared off when I went near the plants.
This is how they look like in close up. They have this wide opening similar to bells. I have been trying to reverse lookup the photos but Google is showing small ripe red pepper 🌶️.😅 I am curious to know the name of this plant, do you have any clue?
This is what they look like on the ground. They are atleast 2 feet tall and their branches are spread out with their abundant flowers all over in every direction. Very interesting plant, not sure if this kind will survive in the lowlands where the temperature is hot. I am thinking this plant could only survive where the temperature is only around 25 or below degrees Celsius.
