I continue to visit the Five Lands (Cinqueterre) in the company of the Haveyoubeenhere community in # HIVE.blog
We took the train and went to the next coastal town: Corniglia, which is the only one that is not located in front of the sea but on top of a hill, which gives it a picturesque and spectacular touch.
I remind you that the train is the most practical way to visit these enchanting places.
It is a fast, clean and very comfortable method, with a precise respect of the schedules.

We got off the train and we have two alternatives to get to the town center.
Climb the 384-step ladder called Lardarina or, in the most practical way, the pullman.
I am not a self-injuryist but I chose the stairs because in addition to being a good physical exercise, it has wonderful views of the entire environment that surrounds Corniglia: sea, vegetation, houses at different levels, etc.

St. Peter's Church. / Iglesia de San Pedro.
The church of San Pietro, built in 1334, is one of the most interesting Gothic-Ligurian monuments in the Cinque Terre.
The simple portal contains a lunette in which the statue of Saint Peter, of a devoted client, and a plaque from the 14th century are placed.
The interior of the church, with a basilica floor plan with three naves with a barrel vault, has undergone some interventions in the Baroque style.

Terraza panorámica. / Panoramic terrace.
Along a narrow street of the Church of San Pedro and always uphill, we arrive at a splendid panoramic terrace from which we have an incredible view of the entire Gulf of Tigullio.
And from which our next destination is especially visible: Manarola.
