HELLO SPLINTERLANDS COMMUNITY! ITS TIME FOR THE NEW FEATURE.

In the past months, Splinterlands released cards that have incredible power, as reward for completing the quests. VENARI MARKSRAT is one of the new card I obtain from completing a challenge. It is part of the Reward card pack and it is one of the Rare Neutral Unit. This monster has low stats but definitely have a strong ability.

To further this discuss this card, let's start the feature!

THE POWER OF VENARI MARKSRAT

VENARI MARKSRAT is a Rare Neutral Monster with Martyr ability. This ability gives an additional stats to the adjacent monster to it. It is such a good opportunity to be leveled up this monster because every single stats in Splinterlands are important and can change the course of the game. In terms of stats, this monster has one (1) range attack, one (1) speed, and two (2) lives. As we can see, its stats is very low and definitely does not have a tank quality. The one range attack can be ineffective once your opponent has Shield ability. Its one speed cannot be reliable on evading attacks. Also, its two lives can only last for a round. The only positive about this monster is its low mana. This monster needs three (3) mana in order to get summoned in the field. This only mean that we can use this monster on low mana fight. Overall, we can say that this monster is weak and not really a reliable attacker in the field. But wait.... this monster is not a reliable attacker but a reliable support. How? Lets discuss its power!

TIPS AND TECHNIQUES TO USE VENARI MARKSRAT

Every card in Splinterlands has their own function. For Venari Marksrat, its function is to become the support in the team. It is rare to find cards that is a great support. With the ability and stats that Venari Marksrat has, it can definitely be one of the strongest and most valuable support.

• PLACE THIS MONSTER AT THE FIRST, SECOND, OR MIDDLE POSITION. I mentioned earlier that this monster does not have tank quality, but it is not built to be an attacker as well. This card was built to elevate the stats of other monsters. Meaning, this monster is made to die in the field and improve the stats of other monster/s. Placing this monster at the first position will elevate the stats of the second position monster. Placing this monster at the second or middle position will elevate the stats of the monsters adjacent to it. With that, finding the best position for this monster is definitely the key to win the game.
• PAIR IT UP WITH MAGIC ATTACKERS. Magic attackers can directly damage the life of opponent's monster. With that, it is important that magic attackers have high damage ability and Venari Marksrat can do that. It will not only elevate its attack, but it will also elevate its life, speed, and shield, which are vital to survive longer in the field.
• PERFECT AGAINST OPPORTUNITY MONSTERS. Monsters with Opportunity ability attacks the monster of the opponent with lowest life. Venari Marksrat has only two lives, which is possibly the monster with lowest life in the field. With that, it will be easy to use the ability of this monster so that we can maximize its effect.

CONCLUSION

Venari Marksrat is a powerful card but in a different way. Its strength is not on the stat it has but on its ability to stengthen other cards. It is not made to last long in the battle. Instead, it was made to maximize the power of other cards. Using Venari Marksrat in the field is a true game changer and can translate you lossing streak to winning streak.
