Here in New Zealand we have a radio station called “The Rock”. The demographic for this station is really any male aged 18 to 55 who likes rock music.
There’s two radio shows that they have with the early show being “The Morning Rumble” and the better show being “The Rock Drive” which is in the afternoon from 3 to 7.
The Rock Drive is funny as hell and made completely because the two hosts - Jaye and Dunc - come across as the biggest clowns on the planet. But it’s not forced either. They naturally come across as mates and that was from day one. That’s made even better by the fact that the two had never met before episode 1.
They also do a spin off podcast called “Not for Radio” which contains all the stuff that they’d get fired for if they played it on radio. It’ll blow your mind how insane this world is when you hear some of the content.
Beware though, unless you’re a kiwi, Aussie, or from the UK you might not get the humour. But for the most part they’re pretty universal if you fully understand English.
