But I'm still thankful for each and every moment I got
Covered in thorns that take their time
Ups and downs, joy and sorrow, beauty in its own way
It's a sweet journey to explore today
I'm finding ways to stay thankful and get my blood pumping still
But days come with troubles and bring forth pain
Just whisper a prayer for better days ahead again
With unending beauty and surprise,
But it can also make us fall so deep

A breathtaking beauty that we adorn
But it comes with some pain and strife

Life has two sides. The bad side and the good one. We all long for the good one and always try to avoid the bad one. Truth is, if we don't experience the bad one, we could hardly appreciate the good ones when they come.
